The summer not only wreaks havoc on your face, but your body can also accumulate buildup of residue from chlorine and salt, with the harsh summer rays drying out your skin. Fortunately, there are several very good solutions out there to restore and maintain your skin's luminosity and brilliance!

Now that you have baked in the sun all summer, the best way to keep your skin from further damage (which actually continues to occur even after you have gotten out of the sun) is to keep it moisturized.  Another great product from AVENE is their After-Sun Lotion with a lipid complex and safflower and soybean oils to repair damage and create a protective barrier over the skin.  TIP: I like to keep this lotion in the refrigerator, so that it goes on cool to sooth sun-damaged skin (this is especially good if you have gotten a sunburn).
