2. CONTOUR
Pick a powder that is 1-2 shades darker than your skin, and starting above your ear, brush towards the center to create a shadow below the cheekbones, making sure to tap off excess powder before going to your face.  Getting this just perfect takes practice, so try it a few times when you have some time.  The key to making this work is blending, so get a really good buffing brush to blend the color.

3. BLUSH
Adding a hint of rouge to the cheeks will liven up your face, but with blush, less is more, so choose a subtle shade.
