YES, Sometimes Even I Use Covergirl...

We all know that high-quality makeup is extremely important to a flawless look, but whether its budgetary contstraints, or the simple fact that you forgot your kit, and need a quick fix before a night on the town... I did some research, and through trial and error, I have come up with some drugstore finds that aren't half bad.

FIND #1: L'OREAL PARIS Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base
This fabulous primer potion evens skin tone, moisturizes, and provides a flawless base for your makeup, OR you can even just set with a transparent powder for a light, non-makeup look. MY SECRET: Mix with your foundation for light coverage that is perfect for summer! As a precaution, use a small amount to minimize pores and fine lines as using too much can leave skin a little greasy.

FIND #2: REVLON PhotoReady Liquid Makeup
This foundation not only has SPF 20 to protect your skin from the sun, but it has micro-reflectors to refect light in all directions to minimize pores and fine lines. I found that it goes on a little heavy so if you mix half and half with a moisturizer or primer, you can get that perfect summer coverage!

FIND #3: COVERGIRL Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner
A self-sharpening pencil that's actually good! Glides on smooth for precise lines, or use the smudge tool to really smoke it out. Comes in 8 colors to suit your look!

$5 - Drugstores Nationwide

FIND #4: COVERGIRL LashBlast Fusion Mascara
Volume and Length in 1 with a nylon brush that prevents clumping! Customer reviews say it all, this is the best $10 mascara money can buy!

$10 - Drugstores Nationwide

FIND #5: REVLON Luxurious Color
More finely milled pressed powder makes this eyeshadow more like a department store brand than any other I have seen. Available in ten classic colors for any skin tone or look. MY SECRET: If you are in a pinch, you can use your pinky finger to gently apply shadow to the eyelid!

$5 - Drugstores Nationwide

I could go on all day, but in the effort of saving time, I won't. For lips, blush, and bronzer I am less picky, and when you are in a crunch, choose whatever looks good to you. A light gloss like one from NEUTROGENA always works, and bronzer and blush in powder from L'OREAL PARIS usually work well. As with everything, you get what you pay for, and drugstore makeup may not have the staying powder as your favorite luxury brand, but for a quick fix, you can still look great!
